Republic of Mysore by Nederbird Republic of Mysore by Nederbird
Flag of the Republic of Mysore for the Australoverse.

The upper two bands of the flag are taken from the current unofficial flag of Karnataka, a state in modern India IOTL. The two lower bands come from the flag of the historical Empire of Vijayanagar IOTL. The symbol in the middle is the Gandaberunda, a double headed bird apparently carrying great symbolic value in India. The combination of gold upon blue comes from the Gandaberunda emblem in the Mysore Palace. An image of it can be found on Wikipedia, just search for "History of Karnataka".
