The flag of the Federal Republic of Arabia, declared in 2054 after a massive rebellion in Saudi Arabia toppled the Saudi dynasty. Unlike the kingdom, the federal republic is democratic, even if some religious based legislation remains. The entire country is significantly modernized and provinces are autonomous. People of all faiths and origins are now permitted to travel within the country, except for the state of Hejaz which still only allows Muslims.
Black stands for the country's dark and difficult past, green for Islam and for faith, while white stands for hope and purity. The green burning torch represents democracy, liberty and enlightenment while the shahada within is a reminder of the country being founded on Islamic values. The two crossed swords symbolize the people's readiness to protect their faith and freedoms.
